Escalante Grand Staircase National Monument (Utah-USA)
Escalante Grand Staircase National Monument included canyons system of the Escalante River bassin and Aquarius Plateau is a vast area located in the southeastern Utah -USA. Most of the roads on the National Monument are unpaved and requires high clearance vehicules. Due to important drainage in the whole area, road conditions change quickly with bad weather and some road can be impassable after washouts. The most famous of these roads is Hole-in-the-Rock Road, the old Mormons trail, about 55 mile along the straight Cliffs which leads to the edge of the Lake Powell. From the town of Escalante, this pioneer road give access at the visitors at numerous natural beauties and wonderful trip most of the time to explore via canyon bottoms.
