Directions:  Hwy 101 to Front St. (south end of town at S-curve). Go west on Front to a left on H St. Turn right on Howe Dr., go 500' and park across from baseball backstop.

Description: Open, but requires precision. Fun and easy to navigate. Pack out your garbage!

Directions:  101 north of Arcata to 299 exit. 1st exit, take right at stop sign, then left at next stop sign. Go 2 miles to a left at Warren Creek Rd. Drive slowly, pass under train tressel, then up hill to 1st driveway on the left.

Description: Relatively short around the field by the bay - a few challenging holes. Excellent views across the bay and lots of wildlife.

Directions:  Hwy 101; take Hwy 255 to Manila, turn east on Lupin Ave. to the park 100 meters off the Hwy.

Description: The Redwood Curtain threads its way through the redwood and fern forest behind HSU. Narrow fairways and lots of trees. More board-feet per hole than any course in the world! 7 baskets and 11 tonepoles.

Directions:  101 N, exit 14th St., right on 14th to left on Union, over hill then right on 17th, up hill to left at T and loop around bldg. to Redwood Sciences Lab restricted parking (weedays until 5 pm park on street below). (Sunset exit if from 101 S.). Guide recommended - should be able to find one there.

Description: Charming and tricky next to Willow Creek. Features large oaks, shade, and a short trail to swimming in the Trinity River. Playground.

Directions:  From west; take Hwy 299 to Willow Creek, then 1st left (Willow Rd.). Course at end of road. From east; 299 to Willow Creek, to a right on Willow Rd. (just past Hwy 96 junction).

Description: Beautiful and challenging mountain course with views of the Trinity Alps. Lots of oaks, firs, pines, and old fruit trees. First 4 holes along a beautiful creek. Elevation changes. Alt. tees make 18.

Directions:  From I-5 take Hwy 299 west to Weaverville. Stay on Hwy 299 for 2 more miles to a left on Bremer St. 100 yds. to Lee Fong Park. 1st. tee off NW corner of parking lot. From Hwy 101 take Hwy 299 east to Weaverville. Stay on Hwy 299 for 1.5 mile to a right on Bremer.

Description: Nice recreational course on rolling ground, through small oaks. Picnic, BBQ, basketball and child play areas. Dual tees.

Directions:  Off I-5 at south end of Redding take Bechelli Ln/Churn Creek Rd. exit, go east 1 mile to a left on Victor Ave., 0.5 mile then left into park, course is out front and on left.

Description: Plays through trees and some open areas. Some blind shots and technical holes. Good intermediate level course.

Directions:  I-5 north to Balls Ferry exit. Follow Balls Ferry to left on Stingy. Right on Rupert to Shasta Wildlife Rescue building. 1st tee directly in back of dirt parking lot.

Description: Challenging - through tall pines and cedars.

Directions:  I-5; exit 678A toward Hilltop Dr. / Lassen Park. Merge onto Hwy. 44, 25 miles to a left on Ponderosa Way. Go 0.5 mile to Black Butte School. 1st tee just N.E. of basketball court.

Description: Exciting and challenging along the Feather River. Fairways vary from rocky to grass areas with many land obstacles. Long grass off the fairways.

Directions:  Hwy 70 north of Sacramento to Oroville, exit Montgomery St. Go west 0.1 mile into park. Turn left onto dirt road follow 1 mile to bridge, parking and 1st tee on right toward river.

Description: Exciting and challenging along the Feather River. Long grass off the fairways. Thick brush and narrow shots. Very technical.

Directions:  Hwy 70 north of Sacramento to Oroville, exit Montgomery St. Go west 0.1 mile into park to 1st parking lot on left, practice basket, clubhouse and 1st tee (back 9 across entance road from parking lot).

Description: Tight fairways through oaks and pines. Very challenging. All holes have several pin positions (changed regularly). 3 ponds and one large mound called the Volcano (miss some putts and erupt). Will test the skills of "big arms" and technical players as

Directions:  From Sacramento: I-80 east to Hwy 49 to Grass Valley. Hwy 20 west to Penn Valley. Penn Valley exit at traffic light left. Right at 1st stop sign to Western Gateway park on right. Follow road around to parking lot just past restrooms. 1st tee across field to the west of parking lot.

Description: On the southern bank of the Truckee. 2-4 pin placements per hole. Great views of surrounding Sierras. Park offers fishing, hiking, mtn. biking, rodeo grounds and amphitheater.

Directions:  From I-80 take CA Hwy 267 to Lake Tahoe. At 1st light turn right on Brockway Rd. 1 mile to the park on the right (across from 711).

Description: *08/07 Disruption due to construction of soccer field. #1, 5 and 9 repositioned. Smoking ban in effect. Mix of tight and open holes through manzanita and mountainside pines. 3$/car.

Directions:  At North Tahoe Regional Park. I-80 to Hwy 267 exit. Hwy 267 into Kings Beach. Right at light on North Lake Blvd. In Tahoe Vista, away from lake on National Ave. to the park (Gun Club Rd). In the park, drive all the way through and up the hill. Hike up Sled Hill to 1st tee.

Description: Varied fairways with 100 ft. pines, 3 pond hazards, open mountain meadows and slight elevation changes.

Directions:  On Hwy 50 in South Lake Tahoe, turn on Al Tahoe Blvd. at Dennys restaurant, go 1 mile, then left into park.
